Odessa

Take a gander at my recently finished Odessa hat carefully and creatively designed by Ms. Grumperina.

Love it! Instead of using Rowan Cashsoft DK, I opted for Kraemer Tatamy Tweed in Oatmeal with bronze beads. So rustic! Gratuitous detail shot:

And how does it look on? Friggin' adorable!

Odessa_21_d Thanks Kathy for another excellent pattern!

I'm also making progress on the cowl (also being made in Kraemer Tatamy Tweed). I added some waist shaping and am now down to the ribbing.

Kathy's design is just fabulous, I need to knit myself one. Problem is, I've no idea how to select the beads.

Great hat! You certainly knit that up quickly (or, I'm guessing, you got a sneak peak at the pattern). the cowl is looking great too.

Those beads are PERFECT for the yarn. Great job!

Yay, look at that tweedy goodness! I'm going to add this to the gallery very soon.

You are like a knit magician! Where do you find the time?!?!

It is friggin adorable! I think I see that in my future too.

Very cute, and quite a different look than the smooth Cashsoft.

...and what of those lonely afghan squares? I think you have the right idea with the smaller quick projects to ease the pain of chore knitting.

Nice work on the hat! Very cute!

i have to echo jennifer's comment above...how did you knit that soooo quickly? didn't grumperina post that like yesterday? ok so i exaggerate,,,but wow - i'm impressed. looks fabuloso - now i have to go get some beads

I followed the link from grumperina (lovely Odessa, by the way) and saw that you were using Kraemer Tatamy tweed. Are you a local? I've been wanting to make a sweater with this yarn, how do you like it?
