Vulnerability

Cookie_28 Cookie_28_a_1

Before getting into the knitting, let us gaze at the most perfect, vulnerable little cookie that I purchased from one of my favorite places to have lunch.

This cookie is waiting for me after I get all my work done tonight. No, sadly that work is not knitting...

But after that work, I do get to knit and eat that cookie. So, about the knitting. I'm still working on the cowl. It's looking good, but not great.

The cowl itself is a little bunchy and I need to fiddle with it a bit when it's on as the front tends to ride up a bit. Well, let me finish it up and block it. Then the real assessment begins.

Oh, and another reason why I love my friends. When explaining to A that wool allergies be damned, I must, must make a Noni bag, even if that means wearing a respirator and hazmat suit, she cried "Let me be your hands!". I almost peed myself.

So, how tasty was the vulnerable little cookie?!

Please give me a good argument for fabric bags. I tried them - in my humble experience, they sag, they droop, and they pill. Yet they're cute.

Do you only use them for "light days" (eg, credit card, lipstick, ID, and keys)? For work, I tend to carry heavy things (wallet, PDA, sometimes a camera, book, water bottle).

As I see you knit this cowl, the sweater intrigues me more and more. Can't wait to see an FO/modeling shot.

I'll be in HS after work tonight. I hope that Hi-Rise is closed when I walk by there. Otherwise....

Mmmm... cookie. I miss lunches in the Square.
I hope the cowl works out to your liking because the sweater looks great!
