Today at the knitting group

Today LL came to meet the folks at the knitting group + what a time she had!

Betsy and Omar gifted our little one with her own little lilypad for a chair, a frog bib + mug/dish set, + some wonderful little clothespins for hanging up drawings and cards. (I love this idea so much!!! I remember having something like this when I was a little girl. Ahh, the memories it brought back).

Our little miss also received a beautiful handknit sweater from Ms Grumperina. In a word, gorgeous!Fancy_new_sweater I don't need to tell you that the yarns, finishing + details are all perfect, because, of course, they are. So lovely!!!

Here's our little one modeling the sweater whilst talking to Miss Z (I love this picture of her in those socks!).  Ms. Z brought some toys and a book to read to Lily. Awwwwww.....

Check out the guy trying to study in the background. Give me a break, dude, the semester is over.

Big smooches to everyone for their special presents for LL!!!

Since LL is finally getting into a groove, I've managed to knit a bit more. I finished one poppy sock (following two pictures courtesy of Ms. Grumperina as I was so spaced out I let BL leave the knitting group with our camera).

As well as some more progress on the preppy baby dress.

Now, off for a shower + some sleep :)

[And I don't know why typepad is screwing up my picture + word placement on this post. Too tired to figure it all out]

Oh, I miss the knitting group. That was so sweet of them! I especially like the lilypad and of course the sweater is fantastic.

The little one is too sweet and therefore needs all the cute stuff, head to toe! Thanks for bringing her by!

Oh, what great gifties for LL! I LOVE the frog bib. How clever.

That frog bib is quite awesome! I'm going to have to hunt for one for my sister's baby.

Can't get over how much handknit love LL has already received! What sweet gestures. You have very nice friends. :)

:-) We've got the same froggy set as well.
It's wonderful to see LL getting styled out in handknits and everyone welcoming her so warmly- literally:-))

That little one is just too cute, I want to come over there and give her a squeeze!

Awww, she is so adorable! What a great sweater! That is a serious bib too! :-)

The sock looks great too! You make me want to start a red pair!

Such a cute little munchkin!

I love how the Poppy socks are turning out.

Congratulations on your beautiful family! "Birth is Nature's way, adoption is God's way"

I am SERIOUSLY smitten with this child.
