Since I can't seem to bring myself to rework Sahara, I decided to finish the baby sweater. The shower is this week, and really, how much of a hardship is it to finish a baby sweater?

Pattern: Placket Sweater from Last Minute Knitted Gifts. Be sure to get the errata (link at the bottom of the page).
Yarn: Knit One Crochet Too Ty Dy in Meadow.
Button: nothing special, just one lying around in the stash of vintage buttons.
The Ty Dy yarn was great! Could this finally be the yarn to us for Lady Eleanor from Scarf Style? But all that cotton. Too heavy? Hmmmm.....
Besides the Sahara sweater, the only other project I have on the sticks right now is some orange and green socks for my brother. What can I say? I'm
a softie and he did ask nicely (and after a magarita).
The Cascade Fixation is nice. Is it truly different from the Elann knockoff? I keep thinking it is, but really, how could it be?
And finally, here's a picture of my brother (in the middle) filming a health a
nd fitness segment he does for the local news.
And, yes, those are Doritos on the table. The segment was on portion size. And, yes, I ate way more than my portion size while watching them shoot. No judgement please!
Just in case you were wondering, I will never, ever judge you for your portion size, not even if you eat the entire bag of doritos in one sitting.

The sweater looks so sweet--and I know that it's snuggly! Nice job.

Mmmmmm, doritos.
What's the matter with Sahara, again? I seem to have forgotten, and I'm hoping to knit it this summer.
The baby sweater is Cute. Cute. Cute!

That baby sweater is adorable. I'm sure the recipient will love it. As for portion size, I once ate an entire one pound bag of Oreos in one sitting. (For those who are counting, that's about 9000 calories.) I will never judge.

Love the sweater, just so pretty. Doritos, ah yes my son loves them and would eat the whole packet if I let him. No judgments here though!

The sweater looks great. That's definitely great yarn for a baby sweater.

Wait, one bag isn't one portion? Hmm, I always eat the whole thing in one sitting. That explains a lot.

That sweater is adorable. I love the TyDy, but if you used it to make a whole Eleanor, it could be really heavy...maybe a mini El? Doritos...I love Doritos...

I would eat that entire bag of Doritos myself.
No joke.
I have a "problem."
(Shhh...and your brother?? My. What a hunk!)
