Knitting with my girls

Just days ago, I spent a truly magical weekend in Philly. There was much knitterly love in my hometown. There was shopping, knitting with beer, a hilarious stories about balls, greasy diner food, and so much more.

Last supper

Including cowls. Oh, the cowls.
Elinor
Here's Elinor sporting the cowl I knit for her in Tilli Tomas Plie. Isn't she the cutest? Better shots of the cowl to be found here.

And Christy knit me a cowl in Skacel Urban Silk. It is gorgeous! But where is the picture? I'm an idiot. There is no picture of me in the cowl. Wha??? What happened? You'll have to wait until next post so I can get a good pic of myself in the cowl. Until next time...

I was watching this weekend in flickr--looks like you all had such a fantastic time!

Looks like you're all afflicted with a very serious case of cowl-itis!

One thing I can't get over is how incredibly cute everyone is.

So much fun!

I have a pic of you in it...you can always steal it.

hooray for cowlgirls!

It looks like an enviable time--what an amazing group of knitters! In reading about the fun, I was surprised that I hadn't heard of a few of the knitters and so added them to my reader list...your included! Not sure how I've missed this one. BTW--the cowl for Elinor is stunning...the color, the pattern...lucky gal!

That cowl is really stunning. The model, on the other hand, appears a wee bit sedated. Did you give her booze???

Thank you so much for knitting me something so nice. BTW, I think I got the yarn wrong in my post about it - I'll go back in fix it.

OMG. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that shade of blue! And the cowl is awesome too. :)

(Did I mention how much I love that shade of blue?)
