On a recent trip to Portland, Oregon, I splurged on some Handmaiden Flaxen yarn in Nova Scotia colorway at Knit/Purl. Ah, silk and linen, so rustic, so beautiful! I made myself some Toasty fingerless gloves (caution, pdf link) and wore them to the playground today.
And I was thankful for warm hands.
