When not loudly bickering, my parents (who are in their 70s) like to snuggle together on the couch. The kid and I are headed back to Philly at Easter. One of the things I hope that we'll have packed with us is this ripple blanket. For them. Under which to snuggle together. Awww....
I'm using this pattern and the yarn (Classic Elite Provence) was gifted to me by the lovely Fricknits. Please click over and read her post about Haiti. And, please, do what you can to help.
I love this pattern. I have crocheted it several times for baby afghans. I crochet must faster than I knit so I use this pattern when I want to create a quick baby gift.
I'm sure your parents will enjoy snuggling under it.
