Lily picked the yarn and I almost lost it. No. More. Pink. But it's her dress and not mine. So, here it is in all its pink glory. And she loves it. Lesson learned. Let kid pick her own yarn.
Pattern: Fionas Top
Yarn: Mandarin Petit in Pink with a touch of tangerine

Both she and the dress are perfect! All that pink was worth it, huh? Maybe next time I'll make you a pink drink while we're knitting.
because there WILL be more pink now that she's had her first...

It was such a long time since you posted a pic of her, I wondered whether you had decided not to blog about her for privacy reasons. She looks thrilled in her new dress - great pictures!

I've about had it with the pink and my daughter too. But that dress is just too cute and bright and fresh and springy... I know I'm not the one who knit it, but fwiw, the finished dress is totally worth the pinkness.

She's precious, Diana. And she's clearly a girl who knows what she likes :-)

You may as well embrace the pink, honey. :)
Did you make that longer? The original pattern looks a bit short and I like the size you made for Lily. I want to knit this for a girly munchkin I know. Please advise. (ha!) ;)
